Dimitrios Zisoulis is a results-driven drug developer with over 24 years of experience in RNA therapeutics, biologics, small molecules, gene therapy, and gene delivery systems. Trained in RNA Biology, Immunology, Virology, Molecular and Cell Biology, and Biochemistry, he has led projects from proof-of-concept to clinical candidates, supporting IND submissions. He has experience in mRNA-based protein replacement therapies, RNA/DNA delivery, and GLP genotoxicity studies. Skilled in building and leading interdisciplinary teams, Dimitrios excels in preclinical drug discovery, target identification, validation, mechanism of action, and toxicology. He is proficient in developing screening strategies, methodologies, and SOPs, and has extensive expertise in assay development, bioinformatics, next-gen sequencing, and managing resources and collaborations with academic partners.
