David McColl is a Partner at Echelon, a concentrated early-stage fund championing the upper echelon of founders solving hard problems in data, climate, and the dollar. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Energy Science & Engineering at Stanford University, where he is a Steyer-Taylor Research Fellow and the Executive Director of Stanford Climate Ventures. He holds a B.S. and M.S. from Stanford University and is a nationally-ranked beach volleyball player.
