Kevin Bankston is an American attorney and activist with expertise in free speech and privacy law. He holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California. Bankston is currently an adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center and serves as a Senior Advisor on AI Governance at the Center for Democracy & Technology. He has also held significant roles, including AI Policy Director at Meta, where he contributed to the intersection of technology and policy.
