For more than 20 years, Michelle D. Gonzalez has woven her career achievements and accomplishments into the heart and fabric of TrueCare. At the start of her journey as a Program Coordinator, Michelle has risen through the ranks, touching lives and improving the primary care delivery system along the way. In early 2020, Michelle stepped in as interim President & CEO while navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. Shortly thereafter, her work culminated when the Board of Directors unanimously appointed her President and CEO of TrueCare in April 2020. Today, Michelle oversees a family of more than 700 team members who are mission-driven and committed to providing comprehensive, affordable, and culturally sensitive health care to over 60,000 patients annually. Under her keen leadership, TrueCare has experienced monumental growth, extending access to care while revolutionizing the patient experience. Her leadership encompasses the birth of four new health centers, the expansion of TrueCare’s mobile fleet, a seamless transition to OCHIN-Epic, the leading electronic health records technology, an organizational rebrand, and the expansion of acupuncture and podiatry.
